The male in this relationship is on the right.  The blue energy of sadness has filled his body.  He has also surrounded himself with this energy in order to keep his partner from hurting him further. 

The female is on the left.  She has built a stonewall around her that keeps her separate from her partner.  It is a colorful wall with many possibilities.  She has taken each color (possibility) and turned it into stone.  These possibilities aren't accessible to her because they are stone.  Neither one is willing to come out of their protective shell.
